We are seeking a highly organized, compassionate, and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients and referral partners. This role is critical in helping families navigate care options while ensuring a smooth and professional onboarding experience.
The ideal candidate is warm, responsive, highly accountable, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You’ll Do
- Respond to incoming client and referral inquiries
- Conduct intake calls and gather client information
- Coordinate consultations and assessments
- Maintain accurate documentation within agency systems
- Communicate with hospitals, families, case managers, and referral sources
- Assist with scheduling and onboarding coordination
- Ensure all intake documentation is complete and compliant
- Support administrative and operational workflows as needed
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in sensitive situations
- Excellent organization and follow-through
- Healthcare, home care, or medical office experience preferred
- Experience with scheduling, intake, or admissions highly preferred
- Strong computer and documentation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
